InvestIQ ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect: account information (name, email) provided during registration via our authentication provider; learning progress data (completed lessons, XP, streaks); usage analytics (page views, feature usage); and device information (browser type, operating system).
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to: provide and personalize the learning experience; track your progress and sync it across devices; improve the App through aggregated analytics; and communicate important updates about the service.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: authentication providers (Clerk) for login services; database providers (Neon) for data storage; analytics services (Vercel Analytics) for usage metrics; AI providers for the coaching feature (no personal data is sent — only lesson context); and partner financial institutions — only when you explicitly choose to open an account through our referral links. In such cases, only the information you provide directly to the partner is shared, subject to their own privacy policy.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access-controlled databases. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; export your progress data; and opt out of non-essential analytics.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences (language, theme). We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregated usage metrics with no cross-site tracking.
8. Children
InvestIQ is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
